- Sign in (top right or above) — that’s how we securely save your scores and streaks.
- Pick any quiz and finish it.
- Wait for the results panel (“You got X out of N right!”).
- Points are recorded automatically if it’s your first-ever attempt on that quiz.
- Climb the leaderboards by playing new quizzes and answering correctly.
Scoring: You earn 1 point per correct answer on your first-ever attempt for each quiz. Replays (from any route, including the “Replay Quiz” button or suggested/auto-loaded quizzes) do not add points and do not affect streaks.

Streaks (How They Work)
- What counts: Playing at least one new quiz (first-ever attempt) on a calendar day.
- What doesn’t: Replays don’t count toward your streak.
- When it updates: As soon as your first new quiz for the day is recorded.
- Breaks & resets: If you skip a calendar day, your current streak resets to 1 the next day you play.
- Best streak: We also track your all-time best.
Tip: You can always see your streak and streak rank in the progress bar at the top of the site.
Fair Play & Anti-Cheat
- Server-side validation: Scores and streaks are stored on our servers and tied to your account — clearing cookies won’t reset eligibility.
- First-attempt rule: Only your first-ever attempt on a quiz awards points and qualifies for streak.
- Replays welcome… for practice: Replays help you learn, but won’t affect points or streaks.
- Tie-breakers:
- Points leaderboards: If points are tied, earlier achiever ranks higher.
- Streakboard: If days are tied, the player who reached that level earlier ranks higher.
Quick FAQ
Do I have to sign in to earn points or streaks?
Yes. That’s how we keep things fair and save your progress across devices.
I scored 0 — do I still get a message?
Yes — you’ll see a clear result message. (No points are added for 0, of course.)
I hit “Replay Quiz.” Why didn’t I get points?
Replays never add points or streak credit. Only first-ever attempts on a quiz do.
What if I play suggested quizzes that load as I scroll (no page refresh)?
No problem. We track those too. As long as it’s your first-ever attempt on that quiz, we award points and streak credit normally.
Which time zone is used for “today”?
We use the site’s time zone to determine calendar days.
Troubleshooting
- Didn’t see a message after finishing a quiz?
- Make sure you’re signed in.
- Wait for the results section to appear fully.
- If you’re using an ad/script blocker, try disabling it for QuizCrest.
- Hard refresh the page (Shift + Reload).
- My score/streak looks wrong:
- Replays won’t change points or streaks.
- If you still think something’s off, contact us with the quiz link and time.
Tips to Climb Faster
- Aim for accuracy (1 point per correct answer).
- Keep a daily habit: at least one new quiz per day = streak growth.
- Explore categories you love; new quizzes are added regularly.
